First of all, I possess solid academic background with fundamental knowledge of economics and finance because I major in fiance and have performed quite well on my specialized courses, such as microeconomics and macroeconomics. Secondly, I love solving problems by logical analysis, especially those with numbers. I could not stop working until I give creative and feasible solutions to problems I get interested in. Last but not the least, I am a dynamic team member who wish to give encouragement to others by my passion and sense of humor.

What impresses me most when I conduct some fundamental research of Barclay Capital is its emphasis on relationship with clients. Many other investment bank use the word “meet” for the requirement of their clients, but Barclay Capital is different, it strives to meet and, what’s more, exceed the requirement of the clients by which ambition and confidence are strongly indicated. That really convinces me that Barclay Capital is the right place where I should initiate my career and contribute to its success.

Recently, I have noticed that the Var of top investment banks before the financial crisis is significantly different with Goldman Sachs: 151 million dollars, Lehman Brothers 96 million and Bear Stearns: 32 million. GS, obviously, is exposed to more risk than the other two giants but it is the only one of the three that has survived during the crisis. So, I believe, the implication is risk management is not just numbers and models, it is what behind the them, the method to handle them, that counts.
