At the same time, discusses from international community on energy use patterns, such as Carbon Emissions Trading（ET） and Clean Development Mechanism (CDM), become more intense. However, China is undergoing the stage of industrialization, on the one hand we need plenty of energy to maintain sustainable economic growth, on the other hand, we are bound to transform to a low carbon economy in order to achieve sustainable economic and social development. Based on the research of literature about low-carbon economy and the business transformation conducted by experts at home and abroad, combined with China's current situation, we do explore the development path of Chinese enterprises under the low carbon background in this article. For example: develop low carbon technologies, and apply these technologies to its own product development; develop new energy, improve energy efficiency, and cut carbon footprints; build carbon emission trading market, and enable enterprises to undertake the social responsibility to develop a low carbon economy.
