Position:
The School of Economics at Dalian University of Technology seeks 6-8 faculty positions in the coming years. Responsibilities include teaching undergraduate/graduate classes; performance in research, scholarly and creative activities which result in publication of high-quality refereed journal articles; award of external research funds; student advisement. The language of instruction is Chinese or English.
Requirements:
Candidates must have completed all requirements for a doctorate in Economics or Finance or related fields from an accredited institute in U.S. or EU.
Evidence of Interest/experience/capability to do high level research
Experience as an effective teacher is highly preferred.
Business experience is desirable.

Salary is commensurate with rank and academic achievements. University research seed grants are available. Dalian University of Technology（DUT）is one of the China's higher-level universities designated for the state key construction of the “211 Project” and the “985 Project”, under the direct leadership of the State Ministry of Education. DUT Faculty of Management and Economics consists of School of Management Science and Engineering, School of Business Management, School of Economics and MBA/EMBA Education Center. Founded in 1998, the School of Economics is a dynamic, innovative and career enabling researching and teaching entity with intensive and fruitful interactions with government and business communities. The School of Economics currently has 35 full-time faculty members associated with three research and teaching institutes, i.e. Economics Research Center, Finance Research Center and International Trade Research Center, serving over 1000 undergraduate, postgraduate and professional degree students.
