题目如下：
In an early contribution to the literature on the ownership and control of firms, William Baumol suggested that the managers of many corporations do not maximise profit. Rather, they aim to maximise sales revenue subject to the constraint that profit should not fall below some threshold level (this level could be interpreted as the minimum profit that is acceptable to the shareholders).
Consider such a firm operating as a monopoly where industry demand is given by p = 100-4q and its cost function is C(q) = 50+2q. Suppose that the threshold profitis 334.
(a) What price and output will the firm choose?
(b) Suppose that the government now imposes a tax on the firm, in the form of a certain percentage of its profit. Compare the response to the profits tax of this firm with that of a profit-maximiser.
原题如上所示。。。那个threshold profit是股东要求的最低利润。。a小题是不是求满足当利润大于threshold profit时，这时使得销售收益最大的价格和产量。
b小题完全不理解题意。。不知道从哪里下手。。。
