    1论文标题EstimatingtheIncidencesoftheRecentPensionReforminChina:Evidencefrom100,000Manufacturers2作者信息ZhigangLiandMinqinWu3出处和链接BBVA,WorkingPapeNumber11/38,23December20114摘要AnongoingreforminChinamandatesemployerstocontributesignificantamountstoemployeepensionfunds.Thecurrentstudyestimatestheimpactofthisreformonthewage,employmentandperformanceoffirmsusingdatafromover140,000mediumandlargemanufacturersinChinaduring2004and2006.Wefindthatthenominalwagesofemployeeswererigidbuttheirrealwagesmayhavedeclinedduetothepensionreform.Inaddition,wefindaninterestingdichotomyintheincidencesofpensionreform.Inlocalitieswithhighagglomerationlevels,firms'profitsdeclinedbecausethepensionburdencouldnotbefullytransferredtoemployees.Inlessagglomeratedjurisdictions,firmsrespondedpositivelytopensionreform,possiblybecauselocalgovernmentsover-subsidizedthepensioncostsasawaytoattractinvestment.
